To be frank... this presidential race scares the living fire out of me. I don't think the American people are left with much of a choice for who they wish to be the leader of the free world. On one side you have McCain, who, quite frankly, is a sissy Republican (actually from here on out he'll be known as the "demublican") and on the other, Barack (our supposed savior of America, but don't call him by his middle name) Obama. Who the heck are we supposed to choose? McCain is pushing for a cap-and-trade bill that will only make prices of EVERYTHING go up, while Obama is under the IDIOTIC impression that America should DISARM! Why on God's green earth would we do such a stupid thing?
Check this out:
We are one of the greatest nations in the world, but let's face it. People HATE America. Iran views us as "The Great Satan". Uhhh.... Is it time for satan to put down his three pronged fork? I don't think so. If Obama thinks other countries will follow our example, he is (say this with me now) D-R-E-A-M-I-N-G! The only thing that he will inspire other countries to do is attack us. The moment we let our guard down is the moment we lose our status in the world. Obama turns the other cheek and risks the lives of millions of Americans. Now I'm not saying he's all bad. After all he dresses very nice. Men's Warehouse must be doing very well. And I'll give you this: He is a very talented speaker. He is. But words are not actions. If I recall correctly: Actions speak louder than words. Now before the Obama supporters go off on McCain, allow me: I am so tired of politicians that stand for nothing. McCain is one of the most liberal Republicans I've ever seen. He's against off-shore drilling, and that stupid cap-and-trade bill that will only drive prices of everything higher. I would vote for a candidate that spoke on what he believed in. Give me something that you're passionate about. Anything! Besides the quest for power. Now, I've talked to a few people about the current election and here are some of their thoughts:
1. They will not vote for either McCain or Obama.
Understandable. In my opinion they both are horrible choices.
2. Obama is the way, the truth, and the light.
They're right. He's the way to destruction, the person that could truly bring America to it's knees, and will show America just how bright the light of an atomic bomb is.
3. McCain sucks.
Again, agreed. But when compared to the other choices... ... ... He's my eventual choice.
Yes, you heard it here. I will be voting for McCain. But only to chose the lesser of two evils. McCain will at least kill our country slower than Obama. I actually think that McCain has potential. He could be a good leader, but he's not conservative enough for me. Take a stand on something man! Seriously. Another thing I've heard recently is that many people will be voting for an Independent. Yay. Thank you for voting for Obama. Because that's what a vote for anyone other than McCain is. Here it is: The race is between (get this) McCain and Obama. An Independent or Libertarian will NOT win. They just won't (let's be honest). I am choosing McCain (it's hard let me tell you) because Obama scares me that much more. This guy keeps turning up "friends" that are very shady characters. Let's see... what is that now... A crazy pastor and Tony Rezko (a money launderer if you're new to the scene)... All within two weeks? This guy needs to choose better friends. Either that or he is lying about his affiliation with them. In closing, let me just say that Obama is, and don't kid yourself here, the path to destruction. I will not try and manipulate your vote, but I will present you with the facts.

Yes, the man on the talk show I am currently listening to seems to agree with you. Obama speaks quite nicely; whether he has ideas to back up his rhetorical skills are more the question. As to his pastor, as much as Obama may deny sharing the more radical feelings of his mentor, he cannot help having these same ideas that he denies sink into his brain. You cannot listen to someone for twenty years without believing at least some of what they say. Obama's ideas may, in fact, destroy this country. Sadly, our government seems to be going downhill, with nothing that we can do to stop it. Our politicians have become unprincipled, desensitized, and only worried about advancing their careers. I am, quite frankly, frightened of what might conceivably happen to this country in the next ten years.
